A newly designed Disney Store is set to reopen next weekend at South Coast Plaza. It will feature special additions aimed toward "Creating magical moments for guests of all ages."
Similar to other Disney Stores, the Pixie Dust Trail starts off the experience, following it into various Disney and Pixar neighborhoods, including Disney princesses, "Cars" and "Toy Story." There will also be a theatre at the back of the store which features film trailers, clips, music videos and more. The theatre area will also be host to family activities, workshops and other events.
The newly redesigned Disney Store at South Coast Plaza will host a grand opening event on Saturday, Oct. 6.

Each new Disney Store features a custom skyline, filled with various lights and color changes that coincide with the store's magical teres, different times of the day, and ceremonial rituals. The skyline shows landmarks such as Big Ben from "Peter Pan," the Notre Dame from "Hunchback of Notre Dame," Mickey Mouse-shaped balloons, plus other favorites.?
The store will have a special opening ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. The first 500 guests will receive a free gift. From noon to 4 p.m., guests can meet Jake or Captain Hook - stars of Disney Junior's "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" - in the Carousel Court.
The Disney Store is located on Level 1 of South Coast Plaza. Park in the south parking structure or near Bloomingdale's.
DISNEY BABY STORE
Disney stores also welcomed a brand-new addition to the family. The first ever Disney Baby Store opened its doors on Sept. 6 in Glendale at the Americana at Brand. The store and online boutique offer essential products focused on baby's playtime, bathtime, mealtime, dressing baby, baby's first and in the nursery.
During the opening celebration, Disney teamed up with Operation Shower, a non-profit organization that supports military families, to host a baby shower for more than 20 expectant military moms. The moms-to-be played shower games hosted by actress Alison Sweeney and enjoyed a complimentary shopping spree in the new store.
In addition to the online boutique, you can also find a selection of Disney Baby products within Disney Store locations, such as the newly-remodeled Orange County location at South Coast Plaza.
The Disney Baby website is also a helpful resource for new moms, including a blog and plenty of tips for surviving baby's first year.
