Hastings Hotels and the Bangor Ladies Choir hosted a Cakes and Carols Christmas event during on Sunday 9 December at the Culloden Estate and Spa to raise vital funds for Alzheimer's Society.
Allyson McKimm, Events Director, Hastings Hotels said;
'Cakes and Carols was a huge success which was attended by over 300 guests who flocked to hear the Bangor Ladies Choir, take afternoon tea and catch up on last minute Christmas shopping at exclusive stalls.? We are very proud that all our fundraising efforts for Alzheimer's Society will help make a real difference.'
Chairperson of Bangor Ladies Choir, Anne Poots said;
'Bangor Ladies Choir have helped to raise many thousands of pounds for charities over the years and were absolutely delighted to be involved in raising both funds and awareness for Alzheimer's Society, a charity which does incredible work for those affected dementia and their carers.'
Janet Plunkett, Community Fundraising Manager said;
'We are extremely grateful to Hastings Hotels and Bangor Ladies Choir for all the time and energy they put into Cakes and Carols for Alzheimer's Society. As a charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals and organisations to help us support people to live well with dementia today and fund research to find a cure for tomorrow.'
